Linguistics masters student, and until I write a more decent bio (that seems how life always is, right?) my interests should make it evident what kind of person I am. I love languages, even if they're spoken by 6 people; I'm currently addicted to Finnish, Guaraní, Northern Sámi, Somali, and the Tromsø dialect of Norwegian.

I have an interest in urban things, urban policy, public transit and other things like that. I am not afraid to talk about politics. Local politics are very relevant. I save more of my breath here though for discussion of linguistics and life, so friend me if you're looking for posts related to that. I post not so often, and if you just want to chat, drop a comment on an entry and hit me up on AIM/Gtalk/MSN/GOM JABBAR.

I have no fear in answering questions truthfully and in an up front manner, and while I think people should be proud of who they are, I feel strongly that there's an amount of information that needs to be need-to-know, and not thrown out there in the first few sentences unless absolutely necessary.

Check out my Flickr, too. Oh fvck!
